“To All The Bygrove Staff, In the very beginning, every day was a little scary. When family and friends became distant memories, you lovely people were the only constant in our lives. The phone calls to ask us how we were, the emails, the books, the stationary packages, and everything in between made us realise how lucky we are to have such an amazing school. We won’t ever forget your support and we won’t ever forget all your happy faces when we went back to school. The smiles masked very well what must have been a really difficult time for everyone. You are the real heroes in this pandemic. A special thank you from our family to Akosua, Donna, James, Sylvie, Rasma, and finally Charlotte. All of your kindness kept us afloat, sustained us when things were hard and gave us hope that better days are coming. Better days are coming!”

With so much uncertainty with COVID 19 they still worked so hard to make sure all families in Bygrove school were well fed no matter their circumstances. “Charlotte, you are a wonderful, kind and considerate SENCO that always puts the pupils’ needs at the heart of all her work. She goes above and beyond to support parents in enhancing their children’s educational requirements. Since the beginning of the lockdown Charlotte was always at hand to help and support all educational needs for my children. She is a great SENCO who listens and meets the needs of the children as well as the parents. Charlotte takes into consideration what’s best for pupils and parents when making a suggestion or signposting to other departments/services which pupils could benefit from. For instance, she signposted us to a service which my son Zak could benefit from to enhance his health. I want to express my gratitude for the help and support Charlotte always provides to us.”

The Bygrove staff as a whole has been splendid in every way possible. The staff has worked so hard in a world pandemic and has never fallen short when the whole world was falling apart. Whenever we have been in need of resources, food, education, or just a chat bygrove staff have gone above and beyond to ensure not just kids but I also am ok too. Whenever I have reached out even through email I have always got a reply, from bottom of my heart I am so happy my kids are a part of Bygrove.”
