Before and after school clubs

Breakfast Club

At Bygrove we want every child to start the day with everything they need in order to learn effectively; a fundamental element of this is a healthy, filling breakfast. The chance to socialise with peers & adults, to keep fit & play also play an important role in readying children for the day ahead.

Our breakfast club is open from 7.45am serving a wide range of breakfast delights; porridge, cereal, toast, bagels, pancakes, yoghurts, eggs, cheese and fruit are on offer every day. When they’ve finished eating and socialising the children have a chance to take part in a variety of activities including tennis, board games and art. Bagels and fruit are also offered within the classrooms to anyone coming in feeling hungry, courtesy of the charity ‘Greggs Foundation’.  The breakfast club benefits from the support of the Greggs Foundation.

All food served at the breakfast club is halal.  We also cater for different dietary needs.  Breakfast club costs just £1.00 per day and the children can come for any number of days each week.

After School Clubs

Children can sign up to take part in after school clubs each term. They can choose from a wide variety of clubs including singing, football, tennis, healthy cooking, basketball and computer coding. Pupils pay a small charge towards the cost of running the clubs. Clubs run from 3.45 – 4:45pm (Cooking Club is from 3:30pm – 5:00pm).

Our Clubhouse after school provision also runs daily from 3:45 – 5:30pm and is a friendly space to play games with our friends and also quietly complete homework or read. You can collect your child at anytime up until 5:30pm from the Main School Office.
