Remote Learning - Home School Agreement
In order to keep the children and adults safe while they are online, we will be following the guidelines below. These guidelines are our ‘home school agreement’ during online learning and we ask you to ensure that your children follow these too.
- Children should only use the chrome book with an adult present who can monitor the sites they are using. Parents should monitor their child’s learning but should not interrupt the live teaching sessions so that the children remain focused.
- Children should only access the learning websites that have been checked by school to provide their learning opportunities
* Google classroom * Mathletics
* Purple Mash * Collins e-books
* Accelerated Reader * MyOn
* White Rose
- Live teaching will always have an adult in the session and children will be unable to log onto meetings without a school adult present
- All live sessions will be recorded by the school for safeguarding reasons
- No live teaching sessions should be recorded or shared with others by parents or children
- Teachers will regularly check the children’s learning and children must hand in any work they complete online
- Teachers will monitor the use of any comments and children will only use kind words when messaging on the classroom stream
- Children should stay safe online by reporting anything they are unhappy or worried about to an adult they trust
If you believe your child is not being safe online, please remove the device from them and call school immediately. If you have any other concerns about the welfare or safety of your child online, please contact your child’s class teacher.
Why Google Meet?
This will allow your child to communicate with their friends and give them the opportunity to watch a teacher model in real time and ask questions. |
